Job summary
Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Chattanooga at Cleveland is seeking a Speech Pathologist to evaluate, treat, and support patients with speech and language needs within a hospital setting. You will develop individualized therapy plans, monitor progress, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to drive meaningful patient outcomes.
Required are state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology and CCC certification; CPR/BLS within 30 days of hire.
Qualifications
- Current licensure in Speech-Language Pathology as required by state regulations.
- CCC Certification (ASHA) is required.
- CPR/BLS certification is required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology is preferred, or Bachelor's with field experience.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, assess, develop, and administer personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
- Identify issues and modify speech therapy treatment if necessary.
- Track and document patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
- Celebrate patient victories along the way.
