Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Chattanooga at Cleveland is seeking a Speech Pathologist to help patients overcome speech and communication challenges within an inpatient rehab setting. You will evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication disorders, and develop personalized plans in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Required qualifications include state licensure, CCC (ASHA), and CPR. A Master’s degree is preferred, or a Bachelor’s degree with field experience.

Qualifications

• Current licensure in speech-language pathology as required by state regulations.
• CCC certification (ASHA) required.
• CPR certification required or obtained within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, assess, develop, and administer personalized speech-language treatment plans.
• Identify issues and modify therapy approaches as needed.
• Track patient progress and document responses to treatment.
• Celebrate patient improvements and progress with the care team.
