Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Chattanooga at Cleveland is seeking a compassionate Speech Pathologist to deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy in a hospital setting.

You will evaluate and treat patients, document progress, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. A state license, CCC, and CPR (or 30-day plan) are required; a Master's degree is preferred, with a Bachelor's in a related field acceptable with experience.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• Successful completion of CCC (Clinical Competence).
• CPR certification required or to be obtained within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, assess, develop, and administer personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language needs.
• Identify issues and modify speech therapy treatment as necessary.
• Track and document patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrate patient victories along the way.
