Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking a Speech Pathologist to evaluate, plan, and administer individualized therapy for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs. You will identify issues and modify treatment as needed, while tracking progress and documenting outcomes to celebrate patient victories.

Current state licensure and CCC certification are required, with CPR certification due within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• Successful completion of Speech-Language Pathology Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC).
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.

Education

Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor’s degree with field experience
