Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Speech Pathologist to evaluate and treat patients with speech and language needs in a hospital setting. You will develop personalized therapy plans, monitor progress, and coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires state licensure, SLP CCC, and CPR either already held or to be obtained within 30 days of hire. A Master’s degree is preferred; Bachelor's with field experience also considered.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• Successful completion of SLP Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC).
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor's degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment as necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
