Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Speech Pathologist to evaluate, treat, and document progress for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs. You will implement personalized treatment plans and adjust therapies as needed to maximize communication outcomes.

The role requires state licensure or certification (CCC preferred) and CPR certification within 30 days of hire; a Master's degree is preferred or a Bachelor's with relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC certification required or must be obtained.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor's degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment as necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
