Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Speech Pathologist to provide patient-centered speech and language rehabilitation across a nationwide network. You will evaluate, plan, implement, and adjust personalized therapy programs, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to improve communication outcomes for patients in inpatient rehabilitation settings.

Required licensure or certification with CCC, CPR within 30 days of hire, and a master’s degree preferred (or bachelor’s degree with relevant field

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC certification required for practice in speech-language pathology.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master’s degree preferred, or Bachelor’s degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
