Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Speech Pathologist to join our national inpatient rehabilitation team. You will evaluate and treat patients with speech and language needs, develop personalized plans, and work closely with an interdisciplinary team to drive meaningful recovery.

The role emphasizes compassionate care, opportunities for professional growth, and access to advanced therapy technologies. A strong clinical background, state licensure, CCC, and CPR certification are required or obtainable

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• Successful completion of SLP Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC).
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master‘s degree preferred, or Bachelor‘s degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.

Education

Master’s degree preferred
