Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Speech Pathologist to evaluate, treat, and support patients with speech and language needs in a leading inpatient rehabilitation setting. Qualified candidates hold state licensure or certification, CCC, CPR, and typically have a master’s degree or equivalent experience.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC (Clinical Certification in Speech-Language Pathology) completed.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor's degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, assess, develop, and administer personalized speech-language treatment plans for patients.
• Identify issues and modify speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Track and document patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrate patient victories along the way.
