Job summary

Encompass Health is hiring a Speech Pathologist to evaluate, diagnose, and deliver personalized speech and language therapy within our inpatient rehabilitation setting in Denton, MD. You will develop and administer treatment plans and monitor progress in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires state licensure, CCC certification, and CPR certification (or within 30 days of hire); Master’s degree preferred or Bachelor’s with field experience.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC certification (ASHA) completed or in progress.
• CPR certification required or obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master’s degree preferred, or Bachelor’s degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, assess, develop, and administer personalized treatment plans for speech and language rehabilitation.
• Identify issues and modify speech therapy treatment as needed.
• Track and document patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrate patient victories and improvements throughout therapy.
