Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Speech Pathologist to join our national inpatient rehabilitation team. You will evaluate and treat patients with speech and language needs, develop personalized plans, and monitor progress to help patients communicate more effectively.

Current state licensure, CCC, CPR within 30 days, and a master’s degree (or bachelor’s with experience) are required or preferred. We offer a supportive environment with advanced tools and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• Successful completion of CCC (Speech-Language Pathology Certification of Clinical Competence).
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor's degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, assess, develop, and administer personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identify issues and modify speech therapy treatment as necessary.
• Track and document patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrate patient victories along the way.
