Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Speech Pathologist to evaluate, treat, and support patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs. You will design and administer personalized plans, monitor progress, and adjust therapy as needed in a nationwide inpatient rehabilitation setting.

Ideal candidates hold current licensure, CCC certification, and CPR readiness, with a Master's degree preferred or equivalent field experience.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC certification (ASHA) is required.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor’s degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
