Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking a Speech Pathologist to evaluate, design, and implement personalized speech and language therapy plans for patients. You will monitor progress, adjust treatments as needed, and document outcomes in a dynamic inpatient rehab environment.

The role requires state licensure, CCC, and CPR within 30 days of hire. A Master’s degree is preferred, or a Bachelor’s degree with field experience.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• Successful completion of CCC.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master’s degree preferred, or Bachelor’s degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
