Job summary

Capital Health is seeking a Speech Pathologist. The role involves assessing and treating patients, planning and delivering speech-language and swallowing therapies, and documenting all aspects of care.

The position supports hospital, outpatient, and home-based services within a dynamic clinical team. The ideal candidate will be licensed in New Jersey as a speech-language pathologist, with preferred experience in acute inpatient, outpatient, or pediatric populations, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal skills and cultural competence.
• Licensed as a speech-language pathologist by the New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs, Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology Advisory Committee.
• Education: Graduation from accredited speech language pathology program.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients in hospital, outpatient clinic and home-based settings.
• Develop and implement treatment plans with measurable goals.
• Document care and billing information timely and accurately.
• Coordinate care with physicians, nurses and other team members.
• Instruct patients and families in therapies to maximize discharge and home carryover.
• Maintain compliance with documentation, reporting and outcomes data.
