Job summary

Capital Health is seeking a Speech Pathologist to assess and plan therapy for patients across hospital, outpatient, and home settings. You will document all aspects of speech language pathology services and coordinate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure quality outcomes.

The role requires a valid NJ license, graduation from an accredited program, and a preference for 1 year of relevant experience. BLS certification and ongoing stroke education may be required for acute care assignments.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited speech-language pathology program.
• Licensed as a speech-language pathologist in NJ.
• One year experience preferred in acute inpatient, outpatient, or pediatric populations.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients in hospital, outpatient clinic, and home settings.
• Complete data reports, questionnaires, and surveys to measure outcomes.
• Coordinate care with physicians, nurses, and other CH team members.
• Develop measurable treatment plans and implement therapy with appropriate procedures.
• Document thoroughly, including discharge summaries and billing information.
