Job summary

The role emphasizes evidence-based services, coordination, education, and documentation to ensure comprehensive patient care.

The incumbent will work within defined programs, collaborating with healthcare teams, and adhering to NJ state licensure requirements, CCC-SLP certification, and Basic Life

Qualifications

• Master's degree in speech-language pathology from an accredited institution.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office and Google Suite).

Responsibilities

• Prepares for the evaluation of the patient/client in accordance with department policies and standards of practice.
• Establishes a plan of care with measurable long- and short-term goals.
• Performs therapeutic treatment for all age groups within the department.
• Modifies goals and progress based on reassessment of therapy.
• Communicates with patient, family, or caregivers at appropriate level.
• Documents data accurately and records charges.
• Meets lifting/pushing/standing requirements as described in job posting.
• Adheres to organizational competencies and policies.
