Job summary

Capital Health is seeking a Speech Pathologist (Diem) to assess patients, determine treatment plans, and deliver speech, language, and swallowing therapies in hospital and outpatient settings. The role requires licensure as an SLP in NJ and BLS certification, with collaborative care responsibilities across the care team.

Strong interpersonal skills and ongoing professional development are expected; the pay range is provided for a full-time equivalent position, with flexibility in assignment

Qualifications

• Graduation from accredited speech language pathology school or education approved by NJ State Board.
• AHA BLS Healthcare Provider certification.
• Licensed as a speech-language pathologist by NJ Division of Consumer Affairs.

Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patients and determine appropriate treatment plan.
• Plan and provide speech language and swallowing therapy services.
• Document all aspects of speech language pathology services timely and thoroughly.
• Coordinate care with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members.
