Job summary

Quincy Public Schools is seeking a licensed speech-language pathology assistant to support the speech-language pathologists in providing services to special education students in an Elementary setting.

You will work under the supervision of the SLP, delivering direct instructional services to students in small groups or one-on-one, and you will prepare instructional materials and visual supports for therapy sessions.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts SLP Assistant license required.
• Elementary/school setting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct instructional services to students in individual or small group settings under the supervision of the SLP.
• Prepares materials for speech and language lessons, including activity materials and visual supports.
• Performs informal record keeping and clerical duties to support the supervising SLP.
• Assists the SLP in scheduling therapy sessions.
• Maintains files and required documentation.
