Job summary

Candor Consulting & Diagnostics in Texas is seeking a compassionate Speech-Language Pathology Assistant to support students with communication needs. You will work closely with the supervising SLP to implement evaluations, interventions, and data collection.

Responsibilities include implementing therapy plans, assisting with AAC devices, and contributing to IEP goals through collaboration and progress reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or Speech-Language Pathology.
• Valid licensure as an Assistant in Speech-Language Pathology (TDLR).
• Current CPR certification.
• Bilingual skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in Evaluation and Intervention: Collaborate with the supervising SLP to support the assessment and treatment of speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders.
• Implement Therapy Plans: Execute therapy activities and intervention plans designed by the SLP to meet students' individualized needs.
• Monitor Communication Tools: Assist in the setup, use, and maintenance of AAC devices, ensuring effective functionality for students.
• Data Collection and Reporting: Record and document student progress, observations, and outcomes to support data-driven interventions and IEP goals.
• Collaborative Support: Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, such as IEP discussions, to contribute insights and advocate for students' communication needs.
