Job summary

Candor Consulting & Diagnostics in Texas is seeking a compassionate Speech-Language Pathology Assistant to support students with communication needs under the supervision of a Speech-Language Pathologist. You will contribute to evaluation, intervention, and AAC device tasks to meet students' needs.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in CSD or SLP, Texas licensure as an SLP Assistant (TDLR), CPR certification, and bilingual skills preferred.

Qualifications

• Compassionate and patient communication with students and families.
• Licensure as an SLP Assistant in Texas (TDLR) needed.
• CPR certification required or in process.

Responsibilities

• Assist in evaluation and intervention for speech, language, voice and fluency disorders.
• Implement therapy activities and plans designed by the supervising SLP.
• Assist with AAC devices setup, use and maintenance.
• Data collection and reporting to support IEP goals.
• Collaborate in multidisciplinary meetings and advocate for communication needs.
