The role requires a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, Tennessee licensure, and ASHA CCC.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Valid Tennessee license and ASHA CCC.
• One year supervised clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct independent evaluations to assess clients with speech or language disorders, dysphagia, and related conditions.
• Develop clinical recommendations and strategies by interpreting observations and data.
• Participate in Admission, annual reviews, and concerns for each client to provide interpretation of assessment data and goal setting.
• Participate in ISP meetings and Circle of Support Meetings as appropriate.
• Collaborate with the client’s Circle of Support to plan and implement activities to improve communication skills.
• Provide professional development to help staff identify communication deficits and dysphagia hazards in clients.
• Assist in developing and implementing dysphagia training in staff orientation.
• Maintain and file physical and computerized reports and records.
• Ensure compliance with CMS and DIDD regulations.
