Job summary

Regional One Health in Memphis, TN seeks a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to assess, diagnose and treat communication and swallowing disorders. You will develop individualized therapy plans, document progress and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.

You will educate patients and families, provide counseling and referrals as needed, and ensure adherence to HIPAA and safety standards while delivering compassionate, evidence-based care.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Experience in evaluating and treating speech, language, and swallowing disorders preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assesses and implements treatment programs as ordered by the physician, consistent with rehab activities and patient care policies and procedures.
• Evaluates patient on initial encounter to assess impairment and rehabilitation potential.
• Develops treatment plans with specific, realistic goals and explains them to patients and families.
• Provides therapy and education to patients and caregivers, and collaborates with an interdisciplinary team.
• Maintains accurate medical records and supports quality improvement initiatives.
