The position includes evaluating clients, developing treatment plans, training staff, and documenting detailed reports. The schedule is 12–20 hours per week, with two weeks of paid training at 8:30 AM–4:00 PM.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited college or university.
• Valid Tennessee license as a speech-pathologist granted by the State Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology (SBESLPA).
• Certificate of clinical competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
• One year supervised clinical speech-language pathology experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct independent evaluations to assess clients with speech or language disorders, dysphagia, and related conditions.
• Develop clinical recommendations and strategies by interpreting observations and data.
• Participate in annual ISP meetings and Circle of Support Meetings as appropriate.
• Collaborate with each client’s Circle of Support to plan and implement activities to improve communication skills.
• Provide professional development to help employees identify and understand communication deficits and potential dysphagia hazards.
