Job summary

Qualifications

• MS or MA in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• ASHA CCCs or CFY eligibility and ongoing credential maintenance.
• Active state licensure as an SLP, in good standing.
• 1 year experience preferred; new grads welcome to apply.
• CPR certification required on hire and maintained.

Responsibilities

• Participates in community health matters/projects as appropriate.
• Liaises with patients, families, and support departments to plan for patient needs.
• Demonstrates good body mechanics at all times.
• Make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
• Understand laws and guidelines governing post-acute care facilities.
• Implement and interpret department programs, goals, and policies.
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
• Communicate effectively within an interdisciplinary team.
• Read, write, and understand English; ensure accurate charting.
