Milestones Day School and Transitions Program in Waltham, MA is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide group social-skills lessons and individual therapy, conduct formal evaluations, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. This on-site position supports students with autism spectrum disorders and other challenges.

You will create IEP goals, monitor progress, collect data, and train staff on SLP practices while maintaining licensure.

Competenze

• Masters degree required; licensure in MA in SLP; experience with language-based disorders and autism preferred.

Mansioni

• Write IEP goals and progress reports for all students served.
• Assure all students make progress toward goals and inform parents when progress is insufficient.
• Collect data on targeted benchmarks and follow the student’s IEP delivery grid.
• Provide individual services to students with SLP needs per IEP; collaborate with staff and outside clinicians.
• Maintain contact with parents/guardians and attend team meetings; participate in professional development.
