Job summary

Milestones Day School in Waltham, MA seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist for parental leave coverage from December 9, 2026, to June 23, 2027. The role includes group social-skills lessons and individual/dyad therapy, plus formal evaluations in a well-equipped therapy center.

Schedule is Monday–Friday 7:30 AM–3:00 PM, with 5 planning hours weekly. The position involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support students with autism and learning challenges.

Qualifications

• Masters degree required.
• Must hold active Massachusetts Licensure in Speech and Language Pathology.

Responsibilities

• Write IEP goals and progress reports for all students served.
• Monitor student progress toward goals and inform parents as needed.
• Collect data on targeted benchmarks and follow IEP service delivery.
• Assess students formally and informally at intervals.
• Prepare group lesson plans to enhance skills and run groups.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team and provide staff training.
• Maintain contact with families and attend meetings for student planning.
• Keep professional license current and engage in professional development.
