Job summary

Milestones Day School and Transitions Program in Waltham, MA seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist for parental leave coverage from December 9, 2026 to June 23, 2027. The role involves writing IEP goals, progress reports, and data collection while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support students with autism and language-based disorders.

The position requires a Master’s degree and active MA licensure in Speech-Language Pathology, with prior experience in related areas preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree is required.
• Active Massachusetts Licensure in Speech and Language Pathology.
• Prior experience with language-based learning disorders and autism spectrum students is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Write IEP goals and progress reports for all students.
• Ensure students make progress and inform parents if progress is lacking.
• Collect data on student benchmarks and follow IEP delivery grids.
• Prepare group lesson plans and run classroom/community groups.
• Collaborate with outside SLP clinicians and Milestones team.
• Maintain licensure and participate in conferences/workshops.

Active Massachusetts Licensure in Speech and Language Pathology
