Job summary

Milestones Day School and Transitions Program in Waltham, MA is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for parental leave coverage. You will conduct group and individual therapy focusing on social skills and language development, write IEP goals and progress reports, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include data collection, evaluating students, and providing training to staff on SLP practices. The role requires MA licensure and a master’s degree in SLP.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Massachusetts licensure in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
• Experience with language-based learning disorders and autism spectrum is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Write IEP goals and progress reports for all students in your caseload.
• Monitor progress toward goals and inform parents when progress is not satisfactory.
• Collect data on targeted benchmarks and follow the student’s IEP service delivery grid.
• Plan and implement group and individual therapy sessions to improve speech and language skills.
• Collaborate with Milestones interdisciplinary team and outside SLPs as needed.
• Maintain professional licensure and participate in ongoing professional development.
