Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a bilingual Speech Language Pathologist for an onsite contract across a district-wide caseload for the 2026-2027 school year. This role supports bilingual learners with diverse disabilities and aims to boost their academic and personal growth.

You'll collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop IEPs, conduct assessments, and deliver tailored therapy. Work hours are 8:45 am–4:00 pm, Monday–Friday, on-site in Illinois.

Qualifications

  • Must hold a valid Illinois Professional SLP license.
  • Illinois Educator Certification or eligibility required.
  • Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred.
  • Fluency in English and another language (Spanish preferred).
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to collaborate across disciplines and cultures.

Responsibilities

  • Provide speech, language, and communication therapy to bilingual students with disabilities.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs.
  • Conduct comprehensive student evaluations and progress reports.
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student success.
  • Serve students district-wide, adapting services to a range of needs.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with district and state guidelines.

Job description

Step into a dynamic onsite contract role as a Bilingual Speech Language Pathologist, supporting students across a diverse, district-wide caseload for the 2026-2027 school year. This engaging opportunity offers the chance to help bilingual learners with a range of disabilities, making a tangible difference in their academic and personal growth.

In this role, you'll work from 8:45 am to 4 pm, Monday through Friday, for a total of 37.5 hours per week. Your expertise will be essential as you collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to create individualized therapy plans, conduct assessments, and deliver impactful interventions tailored to bilingual students unique needs.

Key Qualifications:
  • Valid Illinois Professional SLP License
  • Illinois Educator Certification
  • Previous experience in school‑based or pediatric settings preferred
  • Fluency in English and another language (Spanish preferred)
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to work effectively across disciplines and cultures
