Job summary

Sage Connections is hiring a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist to provide K-12 school-based services in New Bedford, MA for the 2026–2027 school year. Onsite collaboration with teachers and families supports student progress.

You will evaluate and treat students under IEPs, attend meetings, and maintain documentation while benefiting from a supportive team and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in speech-language pathology required.
• ASHA CF candidacy strongly encouraged.
• Massachusetts DESE license or eligibility required.
• Experience with SLP evaluations and IEP processes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct speech and language therapy services according to students’ IEPs.
• Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress.
• Maintain accurate documentation and service logs.

• Caseload:K-12


• Schedule:Monday–Friday, Roughly 7:30 - 3:30


• Hours:37.5 hours/week


• Dates:August 2026 – June 2027, with potential to renew


• Location:Onsite

Responsibilities

• Provide direct speech and language therapy services in accordance with students’ IEPs


• Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations


• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans


• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress


• Maintain accurate documentation and service logs


• Attend IEP meetings and contribute to student goal planning

Qualifications

• Minimum of master’s degree in speech/language therapy or related subject.


• Licensed as Speech/Language Pathologist by the American Speech and Language Hearing Association (ASHA) CF (Clinical Fellow) candidates are strongly encouraged to apply


• MA Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) license as Speech/Language Pathologist or ability to secure appropriate license


• Familiar with speech/language evaluation tools.


• Experience as a licensed Speech Language Pathologist, preferred.


• Knowledge of federal and state regulations governing the provision of special education and the special education process.


• Knowledge of variety of students programming needs in K-12 setting.
