Job summary

Sage Connections in New Bedford, MA is hiring a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to provide K-12 school-based services for the 2026-2027 school year.

The role is onsite, Monday-Friday, roughly 7:30 - 3:30, 35 hours/week, with dates November 1, 2026 - June 2027 and potential to renew. You will support students under IEPs, collaborate with teachers and families, and maintain documentation.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program, Communication Disorders, or related field.
• Completion of SLPA certification requirements (if required by Massachusetts).
• Eligible for or holding Massachusetts SLPA authorization (if applicable).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct speech and language therapy services in accordance with students' IEPs.
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress.
• Maintain accurate documentation and service logs.
• Collect data and track student's progress and goals.

Education
