As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in helping patients improve communication, cognition, and swallowing function while maximizing independence and quality of life.
Conduct assessments to identify speech, language, cognitive, voice, and swallowing disorders, developing a clear path toward recovery and functional improvement.
Design and implement personalized treatment programs based on patient needs, clinical findings, and physician recommendations.
Partner with physicians, nursing staff, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care.
Provide training and guidance to patients, families, and caregivers to promote carryover of therapeutic strategies and successful transitions of care.
Track patient progress, modify treatment plans as appropriate, and participate in care conferences to ensure optimal clinical outcomes.
Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation in accordance with facility, state, and payer requirements.
