Bond Health is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in New York to evaluate and develop individualized therapeutic plans addressing oral motor, communication, and feeding needs. You will deliver Speech and Language habilitation services in line with physician orders, treating individuals with various speech-language disorders.
You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, document in the EHR, and meet productivity goals while guiding families on home exercise programs and therapy
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Evaluate and develop individualized therapeutic plans to address oral motor, communication, and feeding needs.
Deliver Speech and Language Habilitation/Rehabilitation services in accordance with physician orders.
Treat individuals with disabilities, disorders, or injuries related to speech-language functions.
Utilize therapeutic devices and equipment to restore or maintain optimal speech and language performance.
Instruct and supervise individuals, families, and caregivers on therapeutic equipment and home exercise programs.
Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and collaborate on individual care plans.
Maintain timely and accurate documentation using electronic health records (EHR).
Meet productivity expectations and actively participate in scheduled supervision sessions.
Valid New York State license in Speech-Language Pathology
ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP)
Minimum 2 years of experience with the I/DD population preferred
Experience with dysphagia is a strong plus
Familiarity with AAC devices is highly preferred, but not required
Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision
