Job summary

North Texas Therapy & Home Care (NTT&HC) provides pediatric therapy services across the Dallas Metroplex. The SLP will deliver therapies in home settings or daytime facilities for ages 0-21, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. A Texas license and CCC-SLP are required, with pediatrics and home health experience preferred.

Bilingual Spanish is a plus; driving and insurance are needed. NTT&HC emphasizes mentoring, career support, and family-centered care in a supportive setting.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited college or University.
• CCC-SLP certification or completion of Clinical Fellowship year.
• License to practice Speech-Language Pathology in Texas.
• Experience in pediatrics required; home health preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus; must have valid auto insurance and driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled speech therapy services in the home or daytime facility for patients aged 0-21, 2+ times per week.
• Define impairment type and severity using appropriate testing instruments.
• Interpret diagnostic data and prepare written reports.
• Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team to plan and evaluate goals; train team in speech therapy modalities.
• Educate staff, caregivers, and patients with training materials and in-service programs.
• Supervise Clinical Fellows or SLPA if you have 3+ years of experience.

Requirements

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited college or University
• Successful completion of the Clinical Fellowship year, CCC-SLP
• License to practice Speech-Language Pathology in the state of Texas
• Experience in pediatrics required
• Home health experience preferred
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus
• Must carry valid auto insurance and drivers license.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled speech therapy services in the home or daytime facility of patients 0-21 years of age, 2 or more times per week, in accordance with physician orders
• Define patients degree and type of speech, language, voice, oral-motor, swallowing, feeding, auditory processing, and/or fluency impairment(s) by selecting and administering the most appropriate testing instruments
• Interpret diagnostic data and prepare written diagnostic reports
• In collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team, plan and evaluate team goals for each patient as well as advise, consult, and instruct team in specific speech therapy modalities and interventions
• Plan for and modify care to meet goals of speech therapy interventions
• Educate staff, caregivers, and patients by designing and delivering training, printed material/resources and in-service programs in accordance with a total speech therapy program
• May provide supervision to Clinical Fellows of Speech Pathology and/or Speech-Language Pathology Assistants if you possess three or more years of experience
