Job summary

Edisto Post-Acute in Orangeburg, SC seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist to join our skilled nursing and rehabilitation team. You’ll help residents regain voice, rebuild confidence, and improve swallowing abilities in a supportive, resident-focused environment.

We offer a $2,000 sign-on bonus, benefits, and opportunities for growth. A Master’s degree and state license are required; CCC-SLP preferred. Join us to make a real difference in residents’ lives.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Current state SLP license required.
• CCC-SLP preferred; CFYs encouraged to apply.
• Experience in skilled nursing/rehabilitation a plus.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, cognitive, communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Create individualized treatment plans to help residents reach independence.
• Assess and manage swallowing disorders to promote safe nutrition.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, therapy colleagues, and families.
• Complete timely documentation in compliance with regulations.
• Supervise CFY or students in resident care when applicable.
