Edisto Post-Acute in Orangeburg, SC is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our 113-bed facility. You will evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders, and develop individualized plans to restore communication and safe swallowing.

You will collaborate with physicians, nursing and families, document thoroughly, and supervise CFYs when applicable. Join our supportive team focused on resident-centered care and growth.

Qualifikationen

• Master’s Degree in Speech‑Language Pathology
• Current state SLP license
• CCC‑SLP preferred (CFs are encouraged to apply)
• Skilled nursing or rehabilitation experience is a plus
• Excellent communication skills and a heart for serving others
• Proficient in Net Health and PointClickCare

Aufgaben

• Evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, cognitive, communication, and swallowing disorders
• Create individualized treatment plans to reach highest independence
• Assess and manage swallowing disorders to promote safe nutrition
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing, therapy staff, and families
• Complete timely documentation and compliance with regulations
• Supervise CFYs or students when applicable
• Educate residents and families on treatment goals and home programs
• Maintain safe treatment environment and infection control
