Job summary

Edgefield Post Acute in Edgefield, SC is seeking a compassionate full-time Speech-Language Pathologist to join our skilled nursing and rehabilitation team. You’ll assess and treat residents with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders, and collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and families to provide resident-centered care.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Current state Speech-Language Pathologist license.
  • CCC-SLP preferred; CFYs encouraged.
  • Skilled nursing or rehabilitation experience is a plus.
  • Positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a passion for helping others thrive.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, cognitive, communication, and swallowing disorders.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans to maximize independence and quality of life.
  • Assess and treat swallowing disorders to help residents eat and drink safely.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and families to provide resident-centered care.
  • Maintain timely, accurate documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Celebrate milestones and encourage residents as they achieve meaningful goals.

What You'll Do

What You'll Bring
  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current state Speech-Language Pathologist license
  • CCC-SLP preferred (Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply!)
  • Skilled nursing or rehabilitation experience is a plus—but not required!
  • A positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a passion for helping others thrive.
