A $2,500 sign-on bonus is offered, with emphasis on excellence in patient care and education. The position requires a Master’s degree in a related field and licensure as an SLP in IL, plus BLS within 30 days

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in an appropriate field from an accredited program.
• Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in IL per IDFPR.
• BLS within 30 days according to AHA guidelines.
• Ongoing continuing education for acute stroke care.

Responsibilities

• Collects case histories and integrates information from patient, family, and others.
• Conducts speech-language pathology assessments using appropriate tools.
• Develops and implements a measurable care plan with goals.
• Interprets data to recommend intervention and supports patient education.
