Job summary

Ascend Rehab Services Inc is seeking a School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support K-12 students in the East Bay area. The role focuses on evaluating speech and language, developing IEP goals, and delivering direct therapy in a collaborative school setting.

You will work with teachers, OTs, psychologists, and families, maintain documentation, and participate in IEP meetings. A Master's in SLP and active CA licensure (or eligibility) are required.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Active CA SLP License (or eligibility).
• Experience or interest in working with pediatric/school-based populations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct speech and language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide direct therapy services (individual and group) for students with a range of communication needs.
• Develop and implement IEP goals related to speech, language, social communication, and pragmatics.
• Collaborate with teachers, OTs, psychologists, and school staff to support student success.
• Participate in IEP meetings and communicate with families.
• Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and compliance with school guidelines.
• Support use of AAC and assistive technology as needed.
