Job summary

Ascend Rehab Services Inc. is seeking a School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist to support K–12 students in the South Bay.

You will conduct evaluations, provide direct therapy (individual and group), and develop IEP goals in collaboration with teachers and staff, ensuring progress and family communication.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Active CA SLP license or eligibility.
• CFs welcome to apply; pediatric experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct speech and language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide direct therapy services (individual and group) for students with various communication needs.
• Develop and implement IEP goals related to speech, language, social communication, and pragmatics.
• Collaborate with teachers, OTs, psychologists, and school staff to support student success.
• Participate in IEP meetings and communicate with families.
• Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and compliance with school guidelines.
• Support use of AAC and assistive technology as needed.

What You’ll Do:
