Job summary

Ascend Rehab Services is seeking a School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist to support K–12 students in the East Bay area, CA. The role involves evaluating language skills, developing treatment plans, and delivering direct therapy in group or individual settings.

You will collaborate with teachers, OTs, psychologists, and families, participate in IEP meetings, and help students achieve communication goals with AAC and assistive technology.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• CA SLP license or eligibility required.
• Experience or interest in pediatric/school-based populations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct speech and language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide direct therapy services (individual and group) for students with a range of communication needs.
• Develop and implement IEP goals related to speech, language, social communication, and pragmatics.
• Collaborate with teachers, OTs, psychologists, and school staff to support student success.
• Participate in IEP meetings and communicate with families.
• Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and compliance with school guidelines.
• Support use of AAC and assistive technology as needed.

Education

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology

Active CA SLP License (or eligibility)
