Job summary

Ascend Rehab Services, Inc. is seeking a School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist to support K–12 students in Hayward, CA. CFs are welcome to apply and will join a clinician-led team focused on communication success.

Responsibilities include evaluations, individual and group therapy, IEP-goal development, and collaboration with teachers and families. On-site roles with comprehensive benefits and sign-on support.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• CA SLP license or eligibility is required.
• CFs welcome to apply.
• Experience with pediatric and school-based populations preferred.

• Perform speech and language evaluations and design treatment plans.
• Deliver direct therapy sessions (individual and group).
• Develop IEP goals related to speech, language, and pragmatics.
• Collaborate with teachers, OTs, psychologists and staff.
• Participate in IEP meetings and communicate with families.
• Maintain documentation and progress reports per guidelines.
• Support use of AAC and assistive technology as needed.

Pay:$95,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year

What You’ll Do:

• Conduct speech and language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide direct therapy services (individual and group) for students with a range of communication needs
• Develop and implement IEP goals related to speech, language, social communication, and pragmatics
• Collaborate with teachers, OTs, psychologists, and school staff to support student success
• Participate in IEP meetings and communicate with families
• Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and compliance with school guidelines
• Support use of AAC and assistive technology as needed
