Job summary

Ascend Rehab Services, Inc. is seeking a School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist to support K–12 students in the Redwood City/South Bay area. You will assess communication needs and provide therapy in a school setting, focusing on speech, language, and pragmatic goals.

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Active California SLP license or eligibility.
• Experience or interest in pediatric/school-based settings.

Responsibilities

• Conduct speech and language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide direct therapy services (individual and group) for students with a range of communication needs
• Develop and implement IEP goals related to speech, language, social communication, and pragmatics
• Collaborate with teachers, OTs, psychologists, and school staff to support student success
• Participate in IEP meetings and communicate with families
• Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and compliance with school guidelines
• Support use of AAC and assistive technology as needed
