Job summary

Primrose Post-Acute is seeking a Staff Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat residents, communicate with families and physicians, and document services in medical records. You will develop and update individualized treatment plans, supervise CFYs or students, and provide in-services to facility staff.

The role requires licensure, strong collaboration, and commitment to safety and quality improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required; Masters/Doctorate preferred.
• Licensed as a Speech Therapist in the state; license in good standing.
• Proficient with Net Health and Point Click Care software.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents to determine speech therapy needs per orders.
• Develop and update individualized treatment plans.
• Train Restorative Aides and supervise CFY or students.
• Communicate with physicians, nursing staff, and families about progress and discharge plans.
• Complete timely, accurate documentation in accordance with requirements.
• Maintain a safe treatment environment following infection control protocols.
