Job summary

Primrose Post Acute is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (PRN) to evaluate and treat residents in a healthcare facility. The role involves communicating with families, physicians, and health team members, and maintaining documentation in medical records.

The position includes supervising CFY or students when applicable, conducting staff trainings, and participating in care conferences. Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required; Masters/Doctorate is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required
• Masters or Doctorate in Speech-Language Pathology preferred
• Proficient with Net Health and Point Click Care software

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents to determine speech therapy needs and rehabilitation potential.
• Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans.
• Supervise CFY/clinical fellows or students as appropriate.
• Communicate progress with physicians, nursing staff, residents and families.
• Maintain timely, accurate documentation per policies and payor requirements.
• Ensure a safe treatment environment following infection control protocols.
