Qualifications

• Masters in Speech/Language Pathology from ASHA-accredited program.
• Successful completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) under supervision.
• Hawaii licensure required at hire; Basic Life Support and NPI as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provides evaluation, diagnosis and care plans for cognitive, communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Delivers direct or indirect therapy in hospital, SNF, clinic; coordinates follow-up referrals.
• Provides backup coverage during staff absences.
• Educates professional staff and develops group treatment materials.
• Maintains reports and data with outcomes for caseload management and QA.
• Collaborates with care teams to set discharge planning goals.
• Participates in rounds, QA studies and staff development activities.
• Ensures documentation complies with CPT-4 coding requirements.

Education

Master's degree in Speech/Language Pathology (ASHA-accredited program)
