Job summary

Kaiser Permanente is seeking an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist to diagnose and treat complex communication disorders across adult and pediatric populations. This role ensures adherence to standards, mentors entry-level staff, and supports community programs in Northern California.

As part of Rehab Services, the clinician collaborates with physicians on treatment plans, develops department policies, and helps improve service delivery while meeting regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• California SLP license required; Clinical Competence certificate.
• National Provider Identifier (NPI) required.
• Basic Life Support required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates and administers diagnostic tests; provides individualized therapy for communication disorders in adults and children.
• Collaborates with physicians on treatment plans and mentors junior therapists.
• Develops and maintains department policies; ensures compliance with regulations and cost containment.
• Supports community programs and serves as consultant on interdisciplinary teams.
