Job summary

Hawaii Health Systems Corporation’s East Hawaii Region is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide diagnostic evaluations and direct speech-language and swallowing services across acute and long-term care settings. You will develop individualized treatment plans and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.

Responsibilities include screenings, evaluations, progress documentation, discharge planning, and participation in quality

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech Pathology as required by Hawai'i statutes.
• Current Hawai'i State license in Speech Pathology and Audiology.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Screen, evaluate, and re-evaluate speech-language and swallowing abilities.
• Develop, implement, and assess individualized treatment plans.
• Document progress and discharge information accurately in the patient record.
• Collaborate with physicians and the care team on progress and discharge planning.
• Provide age-specific, culturally responsive care across age groups.
• Engage in quality improvement, training, and policy development activities.
