Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Masters or Doctorate in Speech-Language Pathology preferred.
• Must maintain licensing and continuing education requirements.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents to determine speech therapy needs and rehab potential.
• Develop, implement and update individualized treatment plans.
• Supervise CFY Speech Clinial Fellows or students as applicable.
• Communicate with physicians, nursing staff, and families regarding progress.
• Complete timely, accurate documentation in compliance with requirements.
• Maintain a safe treatment environment and adhere to infection control protocols.
• Educate residents and families on goals, home programs, and safety.
• Participate in care conferences and rehab program development as needed.
