Job summary

COLONIALVISTAPA in Wenatchee, WA seeks a Staff Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate residents, develop and update treatment plans, and ensure compliant documentation.

You will supervise CFY or students, communicate with families and the health team, and contribute to resident-centered care and quality improvement initiatives, while maintaining infection control and safety standards. Licensure and CE requirements must be kept current.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology; Masters/Doctorate preferred.
• Licensed as a Speech Therapist in the state with CE requirements.
• Proficient with Net Health and Point Click Care systems.
• Ability to communicate with families and health care team.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents to determine speech therapy needs and rehabilitation potential.
• Develop and update individualized treatment plans to improve function.
• Supervise CFY Speech Clinical Fellows and students when applicable.
• Document promptly and accurately in medical records per policy.
• Communicate progress with physicians, nursing and families; participate in care conferences.
